This unusual food is ordinary garlic which has been slow cooked at a very low temperature for 3 to 4 weeks. It becomes caramelised and very tasty. Hints of dates, figs, caramelised onions and balsamic vinegar are evident but you would not know it was garlic if you were blindfolded.

Use it as you might an olive.

Eat (peeled) as it is or add it, chopped, to Pizzas, pasta, salads – let your imagination run wild…………..Has the health benefits of garlic but without ‘garlic breath’.

Keeps for a long time – at least 12 months in its container.
