There are an increasing number of red ants in the garden. Each year they appear in more and more places, usually deep in the middle of a choice plant. They are almost impossible to get rid of. Why don’t they drown during the wet winter?
But a new problem is happening, noticeable now that its suddenly warmer. In one of the polytunnels there are black ants popping up all over the place, what’s worse is that they are beginning to invade some pots. I’ve tried various sprays and powders but there are definately more this year. Help, what can be done???
I think you need to get an anteater, would they be knocking the pots over though??!
And what would George make of an anteater???
