A rare event at the moment having a day off. I went over to Eaton Socon to see my parents. They had someone trimming the long berberis hedge in the front when I arrived and a good job he was doing too. Their back garden is all growing well especially my dad’s veg plot. He already has lettuce, potatoes, spring onions and small carrots ready to eat and we had some at lunchtime.

My mum and I had  a little walk up the road and got invited to look at the neighbours back garden. Very colourful and very regimented with a wide range of heucheras. Not really my style of garden but good  anyway. I even spotted a weed.

There was some rain at Bridge Nursery which is good for the plants which I recently planted but have forgotten where they all are. Its warm too, so things will grow well now.
