Well, I was wrong (again). The weather wasn’t as bad as the forecasters had predicted and there were a few people about. I continue to be surprised by customers……..One couple who came in on Sunday bought 3 large bamboos, paid for them and as they were leaving said they would be back. We’ve heard that story many times over the years and no longer take it at face value. But half and hour later they were back and proceeded to buy another 5 bamboos!!! Unusually I think we were busier than the cafe and there certainly weren’t many cyclists around the whole weekend.

I had planned to get some potting done today because the weather was supposed to be bad but I kept being interrupted by customers and various phone calls from my father relating my mothers latest accident, she had fallen and badly scraped her leg and broken her wrist, poor old thing. I’d better give her a ring and see how things are.
