I had a good day yesterday, this is not something I say very often. I did the watering first, a boring repetitive chore. Then I got a number of things done which had been on my mind for a day or two. Picked tomatoes, prepared some garlic to bring home, removed a fairly large rose seedling which was growing up and into a viburnum, put some plants out for sale and trimmed back the lavender. Then waited for our special visitors to arrive.

Felicity and Carol came for lunch, although it got bit confusing because there were customers at the same time. We had a leisurely time eating then had a wander around the garden. Lots of catching up chatting, putting the world to rights and just admiring the plants and bees and butterflies, the afternoon disappeared in a flash. We all had such a lovely time and then they were gone.
