It must be the first decent weather bank holiday we’ve had for over a year and what a difference it made. We were busy on all three days, something we’re just so out of practise with. At one stage today the car park was completely full. There were people in the sales are busily buying plants and many garden visitors too. Not everyone had adjusted themselves to the lovely warmth of the sun and were still wearing jackets and in some cases coats and scarves. Cast not a clout til May is out they say but it really was warm and such a delight to shed layers of winter woollies.
Now I’m worrying about running out of plants so will have to do lots of potting in the next few days, if its not too warm in the polytunnel. The theremometer has gone as high as 30 degrees C recently, to hot to pot.
