It makes a real change to have  a perfect weather day. There was hardly any wind for an hour or two this morning so I was able to do some spraying. Gradually it became warmer and warmer and was a really lovely day to be out there working in the garden. Unfortunately, one of the negative things was finding two of the plants I’d planted the other day had been dug up by the rabbits. I replanted one but the other was dead. Grrr. I must make a mental note to phone Richard who is coming to try to shoot the little pests to find out if he has had any luck.

In my earlier days of working in one particular garden which was plagued with rabbits, I am fully aware of how much destruction they can cause. I need to try to eradicate them before the problem becomes more serious.
