What is going on? We had our best day this year on Saturday. There must have been something on TV about bamboos because we must have sold about a dozen, I lost count, and that is really quite unusual. Other plants sold too. It is usually a quite time of the year even when the weather is good but we ought to know by now that there is never anything predictable when running a nursery.

Today was busy too. True, it was a lovely sunny day but it was a very pleasant change to be selling a decent quantity of plants in early August.

The hay has been cut at last. Unfortunately though its wet and of poor quality. Kev has turned it three or four times and hopes to bail it on Saturday.
