Our garden at Bridge Nursery has been open for the National Garden Scheme every day since April. Last year we raised the grand total of £1200 which we were really pleased with. This year our expectations were low due to the endless rain. We thought we would be lucky to take half that amount. At some point during the year Philip made a gate at the entrance to the garden. This helped to prevent people from drifting into the garden without making a donation. Subsequently we are pleased and surprised to find that the donations are almost as much as last year and we have raised the grand total of £1119. Many thanks to all of you who visited and contributed money for this wonderful organisation.
